This scheme is launched by the name Vahali Dikri Yojana Gujarat. This scheme is for the girl child of the State. Under this scheme, State government of Gujarat will provide incentives on girls education. Along with that for first and second girl of the family Gujarat government will also offer Rs 1 lakh in this scheme.In the recent Gujarat Budget 2019-20, the state govt. has allocated Rs. 133 crore for Vahli Dikri Yojana.
Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of Gujarat to provide a powerful incentive to all of the girl children residing in the Gujarat state. Through the implementation of this scheme, many incentives will be provided to all of the girl children who are living in Gujarat. One of the main benefits through the implementation of the scheme is the reduction in female foeticide. Also, the main objective of the government is the reduction of female foeticide. As we all know that many crimes have been taking place against women so this scheme will prevent all of these crimes and hideousness.
There are many benefits of the scheme such as the incentives which will be provided of a total of 110000 rupees to each beneficiary of the Gujarat Vahli Dikri Yojana of 2020. Also, as announced by the concerned authority, the scheme is launched by keeping in mind the crimes and the prejudice that has been taking place against the girl child of our society. This scheme is a great step towards the development of girls in our country. A similar scheme has been launched in another state also.

Scholarship Amount Distribution
Beneficiaries will get Rs. 4000/- in first enrollment in class 1st
Second enrollment will be given in class 9th and the amount will be Rs. 6000/-
Beneficiaries will get Rs. 100000/- when she attains age of 18 years.
