 Such good news for the students of standard 9 to 12 regarding the syllabus and examination


Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board has decided about the Kovid-19 epidemic in the interest of students. Gujarat Board of Secondary as well as Higher Secondary Education has reduced the syllabus by 30% in the academic year 2020-21 from Std-9 to Std-12. The examination system has also changed a lot. As per the Board's decision, the proportion of objective questions has been increased to 30% in the 12 general streams along with Std-9,10,11. Which was 20% earlier.



As per the reports received, a decision has been taken in the interest of the students by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board of the Government of Gujarat in view of the Koro epidemic. Under this, the standard 9 to 12 syllabus has been reduced by 30 percent and the examination system has also been changed significantly. As per the Board's decision, the proportion of objective questions has been increased to 30 percent in the Std-9,10,11 and 12 General Stream question papers. Which was 20 percent earlier.


class. -12 Science has maintained the same proportion in 50% MCQ as well as 50% descriptive type question papers as before. Std-12 question papers in Std-9 will give general option instead of internal option in descriptive type questions.


It may be mentioned that in Std-12 Science, the ratio of 50% MCQ and 50% descriptive type of questions in question papers is maintained as before. In descriptive type questions Std-9 to Std-12 question papers will be given general option instead of internal option.


As per this change, Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has prepared Std.-10 and Std.-12 question papers in 40 main subjects by experts. Due to the current status of Kovid-19, this rule will be applied for one year only. Not only this, 12 students along with Std-10 will take the stress-free exam. However, no decision has yet been taken by the Gujarat government as to when the schools will start.


Amidst the Kovid-19 epidemic, the government has decided to conduct STD 10 and 12 exams in May and STD 9 and STD 11 exams in June. Standard 10 and 12 examinations will begin on May 21.
