An important decision has been taken by the Gujarat government for the employees of Energy Development Corporation . Gujarat government has reduced the fixed salary period of 5 years for power company employees. Henceforth employees will be kept on fixed salary for 2 to 3 years only.
The reduction in the fixed salary period of 5 years
will keep the employees of Gujarat Energy Development Corporation and its owned power companies on fixed salary for only 2-3 years instead of 5 years. The Energy and Petro-Chemicals Department has approved the proposal made by the Energy Development Corporation to the government.
The fixed salary of junior engineer in power company will be for 2 years only,
According to which, from now on, the salary of junior engineer in power company will be fixed for 2 years, while the salary of junior assistant, helper and plant attendant will be fixed for 3 years. Fixed pay period for Class-III employees in Govt will be 5 years only.
Let us tell you that this period was earlier also , earlier the fixed salary period was only 2 and 3 years in power companies owned by the Department of Energy. But it was later increased to 5 years.
