Ambulance service: Government of Gujarat Sensitive Government providing emergency ambulance service not only for humans but also for animals like 108 Emergency Management & Research Institute GREEN HEALTH SERVICES of Gujarat Government through Animal Helpline 1962 like 108 (for stray cattle birds) and
10 mobile clinics per village 1962 (for domestic animals) are functioning in Gujarat State.
At present, a total of 16 ambulances are operating in Aravalli district.
which serves 196 villages under 10 rotating select hospitals per village.
and a Karuna Animal Ambulance which provides services from Modasa taluka to save the lives of stray animals and birds.
Ambulance service / Animal Helpline 1962
Karuna Animal Ambulance has so far saved lives by treating around 7930 stray animals and birds.
Also, the lives of 180,472 farmers' domesticated livestock have been saved by providing treatment services through mobile animal clinics per ten villages.
Along with this, Aravalli's 1962 Ambulance Staff Veterinary Officers and Pilots have helped a lot to boost the Karuna Abhiyan to raise awareness of World Rabies Day.
