The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 bugle is going to sound for real from today (December 23).
The mini auction for the upcoming season is going on in Kochi today and this time 405 players were shortlisted for the mini auction, on which all the teams spent a lot.
At the very beginning of the auction, English batsman Harry Brooke was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 13.25 crore.
Along with this, Mayank Agarwal also won the lottery.
Sunrisers Hyderabad signed Mayank for Rs 8.25 crore.
Let us tell you that out of 405 players involved in the auction, 273 were Indian stars while 131 players were foreign players. Maximum 87 slots were available in this auction. According to the rules, maximum 30 foreign players could be bought out of 87 players. First 86 players' names will be put up for auction one after the other.
And after that the auction process will start fast.
