Mobiles will be given to students of class 6 to 8 in Manpani schools in Ahmedabad. Students of class 6 to 8 will be given mobiles to provide technology-rich education. 5 thousand children of municipal schools will get mobile. Manpa will give mobiles worth up to 12 thousand to the students. This mobile phone costs approximately Rs. 6 crore will be spent.

Ahmedabad got 4 smart schools yesterday
It is worth mentioning that yesterday also in Ahmedabad 4 smart schools were gifted to Ahmedabad by the hands of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Amit Shah launched 4 smart schools in Ahmedabad yesterday. In which a total of four smart schools in Naranpura, Thaltej, Ghatlodia and Gandhinagar were inaugurated by Amit Shah.
20 smart schools built
Now government smart schools are being built in Ahmedabad day by day. So far 20 smart schools have been built by the Nagar Primary Education Committee and the target of the Nagar Primary Education Committee is to build smart schools in all the wards in the near future. For the last few years, smart schools, English medium schools and advanced facilities are being made available in the schools run by Nagar Primary Education Committee. Apart from appointment of highly qualified and experienced teachers for teaching work, schools equipped with computers and laptops with internet connectivity are being constructed. In such smart schools, children can do smart education themselves using smart TVs. Children learn learning lessons effectively through visualization in SmartSchool. Installed courses are taught through smartboards.

Municipal Corporation School Board in Ahmedabad city Rs. A total of four schools namely Naranpura Gujarati School No. 6, Thaltej School No. 2, Ghatlodia School No. 2 and Gandhinagar School No. 2 at a cost of 9.54 crores were inaugurated today by the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah. This morning, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the entire school after inaugurating the newly constructed Smart School No. 2 in Nawawadj area. He also visited the government school which rivals private schools and interacted with the children present in the school.

Every year a large number of children are coming from private to government schools. If we look at it, in the year 2021-22, AMC Board in Ahmedabad had a total of 440 schools. In which 1,62,231 students were studying. In 2022, the number of schools has increased to 459 and the number of children has increased to 1,70,000. This year 9600 children have got admission in municipal schools from private schools. In seven years, more than 40,000 children have left private schools and enrolled in government schools. English medium schools are also being started by the school board. This year, 18 new English medium schools have been started.
