The 20 hectare large famous Mahakal Corridor of Ujjain located in Madhya Pradesh has been prepared. The first leg of the Mahakal Mandir Corridor i.e. Shri Mahakal Lok Phase One will be inaugurated by Narendra Modi today.

Ujjain: The Mahakal Corridor of Madhya Pradesh Ujjain, four times larger than the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor of Uttar Pradesh, has been completed. Statues of Lord Shiva and his entire family have been installed in Mahakal Lok. Around 200 small and big idols depicting the greens of Lord Shiva are carved here. A large idol depicting the story of how Lord Shiva killed the demon Tripurasura is also Kandarayel.
The cost of construction of Mahakal temple is around 750 crore rupees. Under this, the work of Mahakal Path has been completed in the first phase, so that devotees can come here and have darshan. The 108 pillars here include Shiva's Ananda Tandava, Shiva Stambha, huge idols of Virajit Nandiji at the grand entrance.
The gateway with pillars is also the center of attraction
This 910 meter Mahakal temple rests on a total of 108 pillars. The streets of the temple along with its gates are very grand. These grand gates are stunning enough to be a reason for people's attraction.
