The state government's science and technology department has successfully exceeded this goal of the chief minister and expanded the reach of the digital service bridge in 8000 gram panchayats of the state.
The Chief Minister has inspired the department for this by committing to digital service bridge in all 14 thousand gram panchayats of the state through Bharat Net Internet in 2021.
Accordingly, by December 2020, 28 lakh applications have been received for various benefits of digital service bridge and millions of rural citizens have easily and quickly availed services of various government departments from their own villages.
